Where can I book my tour?
You can book your tour at any of our offices You can also book your tour online / send an enquiry through www.stepintours.com
At the time of booking: International Tour Registration:
International Tour Registration: There are 3 Easy Steps to register your tour.
I) Read carefully the International Tours including "Terms and Conditions".
II) Select your tour, fill in the Registration form.
III) Pay the Registration amount.
Please fill up your complete details, including Name as on Passport details, Birth date, Marriage date, Meal preferences, Address, Tel, Mobile, Email, Emergency contact (other than residence), pre/post tour program if any, Insurance, extension of insurance any extras such as additional accommodation, transfers, change of return travel date, etc.
Balance payment will have to be made 30 days before the tour departure. In case airlines or suppliers demand the full amount, you could be requested to pay a certain portion of your payment at the time of booking. If you book the tour within 30 days to departure, the entire tour price has to be paid at the time of booking.
Passport Requirement:
Bring all the original passports of all family members at the time of booking. Passport must be valid for 180 days from the arrival date of the tour in India and should have sufficient number of blank pages for the required visas. Please keep a photocopy set of your passport with you before submitting the same to Step In Tours.
VISA Processing:
The processing time for VISA varies according to the tour you have selected and depends on the number of countries you wish to visit. Some of the consulates are located in New Delhi and require longer processing time. Book early for USA tours, to get appointment dates for personal interviews sufficiently well in advance.
Submit the required Visa documents along with photographs as per the specimen of respective Consulates within the given time period, failing to do so INR 2500 per visa will be applicable as Urgent VISA processing fee. If you book the tour within 30 days prior to departure, urgent Visa processing charges of INR 2500 per visa will be applicable.
Domestic Tour Registration:
There are 3 Easy Steps to register your tour.
I) Read carefully the Domestic Tours including "Terms and Conditions".
II) Select your tour, fill in the Registration form.
III) Pay the Registration amount.
Bank Details as follows :
Please fill up your complete details including Name, Completed age (as on departure date), Preferred journey by Rail/Air, Birth date, Marriage date, Meal preferences, Address, Tel, Mobile, Email, Emergency contact (other than residence), Pre-post tour program and any extras such as additional accommodation, transfers, change of return travel date etc.
Collect the official payment receipt on payment of the Registration amount which is: INR 10,000/15,000 p.p. for guests travel by Train/Air respectively. For Non-Refundable airline ticket air ticket cost has to be paid fully. If you book the tour within 30 days to departure, the entire tour price has to be paid at the time of booking. For Domestic tours with airlines deposit will be INR 20,000 per person.
Balance payment will be paid 30 days before departure. However, in case airlines or any suppliers demand the full amount, we will request you to pay a certain portion of payment at the time of booking.
After booking procedure :
Documents to be collected from Step In Tours:
An Estimate for your Tour with extras if any.
Copy of your tour registration form.
An official payment receipt against the Registration amount.
Visa forms and a checklist of the required documents for foreign tours.
Payments :
Payments can be made through local 'Account payee' cheques, Demand Drafts, net banking or by Cash. The Cheques/Demand Drafts for INR are to be made in favour of "Step In Tours."
(Forex)". PAN is required to quote in case of cash payment in accordance with prevailing Income Tax rules.
Please note:- outstation cheque is not acceptable
Balance Payment :
You must make the Balance payment towards the tour price (INR and Forex for International tours) 30 days prior to the tour departure.
Late Payment :
If we do not receive the entire tour price payable to us 30 days prior to tour departure, we will not be able to process your booking and arrange your visas (in case of International tours). Your registration amount is likely to be forfeited and your booking stands automatically cancelled.
Cheque payments will not be accepted 15 days prior to the tour departure. Any payments made 15 days prior to departure will have to be made by cash / Demand Draft for all tours. For Forex payment only cash / demand draft will be accepted.
Onetime Payment:
To avoid frequent visits, you can pay the balance amount at the time of registration through post-dated cheques. If there is any variation in the final bill, the same will be communicated to you and the payment will have to be made by cheque.
Instalment Payment:
We also have an option for our guest to pay for the tour in instalments’ wherein the departure date will be fixed only after one year. The Registration amount will have to be paid in full and the rest of the tour amount will be collected every month. The date and amount of monthly payments will be decided by Step In Tours’ management and it will be as per the tour cost. If there is any variation in the final bill, the same will be communicated to you and the payment will have to be made by Cash/ Demand Draft
Booking from Overseas:
Can we join the tour from 'Anywhere in the world'? Or Can an NRI or a foreigner join a tour?
Yes, one can join any of our tours. Guests can join the tour from 'Anywhere in the World'. These guests are termed as Joining and Leaving guests, (J&L guests). They can join the tour at the first destination and leave the tour at the last destination.
Joining & Leaving Guests for Domestic Tours:
(J&L) Guests must possess Rail/Air tickets for the entire travel including any internal journey as per the tour itinerary. They must make the payment in US$ either at our offices or directly by telegraphic/transfers. Guests will meet the group directly at the reporting place as per the itinerary.
India Tours: NRI guests should pay tour cost defined in USD.
Joining & Leaving Guests for International tours:
These guests must possess air tickets for the entire travel including any internal flights, insurances and visas as per the tour itinerary. They must make the payment in US$/Euro either at our offices / directly by telegraphic transfer.
The cost of air travel including internal flights, airport tax, departure tax, visa, Insurance and airport transfers are not included in the tour price. These guests will meet the group directly at the reporting place as per the itinerary. Insurance is necessary for Europe, Egypt and Dubai tours. Guests are requested to keep proper communication with our team about respective departures. Step In Tours will not be responsible for any damages due to change in programme due to various reasons.

You can pay the tour price by the safe and simple direct telegraphic transfer/online payment. Any transaction charges levied by the bank will be borne by the guests.
